James started in the Events Industry nearly 25 years ago working for the hire department of a Midlands based AV company, progressing through the ranks to become Head of Technical Delivery.
In 2013 James started his own technical event delivery company, working with a combination of end clients and providing freelance project management for other agencies.
His spare time is taken up with his new son, Nottingham Forest FC and learning to play golf (badly)!
John Amery
Prior to joining Technical Elements, John had worked for a UK based production company for over a decade in a Senior Project Management role.
John’s credentials include end-to-end project management of events with production budgets ranging from £5k – £1m, being responsible for conceptual design, realisation and event execution.
John’s background is evenly split across working directly for corporate clients, exhibition organisers and creative agencies.
Client’s John has worked for include a selection of international governments, BMW, Total Energies, Samsung, Unilever, the Teenage Cancer Trust and many more.
On a rare weekend off, John can be found at a racetrack or improving his amateur photography skills
Rich Holland
Rich has a long history of working in the Events Industry after starting out in engineering.
He has delivered a hugely diverse portfolio of corporate events around the world for multinational organisations.
A specialist in technical production including audio, lighting and video systems for live events, he can turn his hand to anything to ensure an event succeeds.
Away from events he’s usually found surrounded by old-rusty vehicles, or random projects.
Nik Blasdale
Nik has worked in the event industry since 1995 having begun his career working as a journeyman electrician before that.
Starting in the industry as a sound engineer & gravitating to video & all things tech, Nik has spent the last 15 years as a projection specialist & latterly an e2 owner / operator.
In the little spare time available Nik dabbles in scuba-diving, and being an avid motorcyclist he has ridden all over the world, from the heights of the Himalayas to the Canadian forests & through much of Europe.
